Those shots are so interesting. I was in high school in 1972, and we would NEVER have worn our skirts that length – except for the skirt in the first photo, of course!

Skirt lengths in the early 70s were quite diverse weren’t they? I guess teenagers would undoubtedly go for the shorter length and leave the midi length for old people – say those over the age of 20!
I’m crazy about the editorials from UK magazines during this period. I’ve yet to find a Petticoat magazine but I always enjoy the images that I see online. Thanks for sharing and please keep them coming
