Yay! I’m off to sunny Spain this August. So excited, because February 2008 was my last vacation ‘proper’, so it’s been a long time coming. I visited Cape Town back then and of course, it was very, very hot. I managed somehow. Let’s say I’m one of those ‘pale but interesting‘ types! I’m not particularly good in the baking-hot sun. After all, prickly-heat isn’t the best look is it?
Anyway, with time on my side, I’ve decided to get my summer wardrobe together. My plan is to look effortlessly cool and chic so I’ll just have to try and stay out of the sun as much as possible. Not easy in Southern Spain I know!

Wow I love your vintage choices. The others are great too but very expensive. My favourites are the straw bag, the peacock necklace and the shorts.
As a seashell addict – I’m in love with the seashell shirt! And the straw bag. Summer is perfect for straw bags and large ones are so perfect for carrying summer necessities.
