THIS DRESS HAS NOW BEEN SOLD!
You might recall that last week I posted a photograph of one of my most recent purchases. It’s a beautiful 1950’s illusion cocktail dress by Peggy Page.
I decided that in order to show the dress off properly, I had to invest in a petticoat. Andrea from Petticoats-a-Plenty did the honours and made me the most divine double-layer petticoat. I think you’ll agree how improved the dress looks!
The dress has a classic ‘New Look‘ silhouette with nipped in waist, fitted bodice and lovely full skirt. Made of flocked black chiffon/organdy decorated with beautiful flowers and pretty foliage, over a nude, acetate lining. It has a wide, V-neckline, rear enclosed zip with hook fastener at the top. Measures small to medium (27 inch waist, 38 inch bust).

It was well worth your effort to invest in the petticoat, Louise! It shows the dress off to the hilt! Lovely.
Ditto what MC said. Andrea’s petticoat REALLY shows this ABSOLUTELY gorgeous dress off …AND I have seen/felt/drooled over this PP cocktail dress in person. If I had a reason to buy it…NOW that would be something! EXCELLENT read as usual! Thanks for sharing!!!
Lady LuLu, I think that you need to MODEL it!!! Your GORGEOUS SEXY “thang”! That would complete the Listing!!!!
